Our family is incredibly impressed with the service provided by Western Casket. They were able to accommodate a very difficult last-minute request with top-notch professionalism. My father was hospitalized, and we had to postpone the cremation from the morning to the following afternoon so he could be discharged to attend. Despite us reaching out just 20 minutes before the cremation center closed, they managed to secure the changes. Mr. Ang was deeply empathetic and offered excellent suggestions throughout. My family & I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Mr Ang & his team at Western Casket (Ang Chin Moh Group) for their excellent wake/funeral arrangements during our recent bereavement. Our brother had passed on peacefully on 7 Apr 25 and we had engaged Western Casket and chosen the Freethinker Honour Package for his last rites. The Western Casket team was very professional and dedicated. They willingly accommodated our request for adjustment to the tentage setup. They were also very transparent about costs and did not try to "hard sell" things/services that were not needed. We liked especially the team's thoughtful suggestion to use the beautiful flowers from the flower wreaths to decorate my late brother's casket and for family members to use and hold the potted flowers (from the tables) as a mark of respect, love and blessings as his cortege left for Mandai Crematorium and to bring them (potted flowers) there for his last rites. The response from the co-ordinator was swift, simple and hassle free. As our wish was a Direct Cremation, there are lots last minute booking of cremation time and scattering ashes. I like what the team has arranged for us - a family private time before the cremation. It was beautiful. The team did excellent job.

The entire team is very professional and helped ensure the funeral go very smoothly for my late father. Me and my mother are very pleased. From hospital to the final send off, it was smooth sailing. They accommodated our request for more colorful flowers and a simple non religious wake, and did it well. They are very experienced in handling everything, so even if we didn't know how to handle things, they advised us on it and ensured that everything went according to my late father's wishes. They also fixed the speaker issue in the middle of the night when I asked for help, which I did not expect, so they went above and beyond for us. I was in Japan when my brother passed on. The nurse at the nursing home had given me 3 funeral parlours to consider. Called the 1st and 2nd but they were not keen to take on the service as there was no wake. When I called Western Casket for enquiry, immediately Mr Ang called me back (i was still in Japan). Excellent. We contacted Ang Chin Moh (Western Casket is part of their group) for a non-religious, direct cremation, inland scattering service as per the wishes of our beloved family member. Their team is incredibly professional, punctual, responsive, empathetic, compassionate. They were able to fully follow our wishes without any suggestions/pressure for add-ons. Prices were transparent and reasonable.

We were extremely lost on the traditions or cultural practise on one's love passing. Western Casket was recommended to us by Mt Vernon sanctuary. The staff visited us at a time suitable to share on their packages. We were please they demostrated empathy and do engage us a few times a day to check on the body and if we require any sort of assistance. From the wake to funeral everything went smoothly. They really know what needs to be done and help make complex situation simple to understand with their suggestions. Most important they were no pushy sales tactics to add from A to Z. Just the required and if you have the extra to spend there is always a grand option. I would highly recommend them to anyone. You will feel the difference once compare with others.
